$50,000 in grant money is available for home buyers who finance with us to help with down payments and closing costs.

The State Bank of Alcester received this grant money from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. All this money will be used to help our customers realize the American dream of owning a home*, and allow some first-time home buyers to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit for purchasing a new home in 2009.
